Niche marketing is exciting. If you are knowledgeable about something, you can start writing about it and make yourself known to the world as an expert. If you have a hobby, if you have something that you care about, you can turn it into a website business.
And it is true - it is not about selling. People visit your website to solve their problems. If you have a website about handbags, you'll be helping people who are looking for a handbag to solve their problem; which handbag to buy. And most of you I hope, will find joy & happiness in sharing your knowledge with others. Because I find mine and get paid for it!
Kyle, the co-founder of Wealthy Affiliate says this;
Successful online marketers have 3 things in common.
- However successful they are, they have help & support from their own mentors.
- They never stop trying, testing, and learning. And they know how to do it right.
- They have their own website!
It's been over 2 years since I joined, and I still believe in Wealthy Affiliate. Absolutely.
Just google wealthy affiliate scam and you find many people complain about the place. They make you promote itself, people hardly make a success disillusioned and leave. Bitching free you joking? Full of troubles, man.
Hi Rakibul, thanks for your comment. I am aware of the people who complain about Wealthy Affiliate and feel sorry that it didn’t work out for them.
I’ve seen quite a few ‘loud-mouthed’ members who would cross the line and eventually leave. Typically they spend so much time with WA community, they would give us valuable tips & advice, but they would also create a drama by making unpleasant comments or attitude. Yes, bitching, but they would leave the membership shortly after that. We all join Wealthy Affiliate to learn how to make money online, but sadly some of them lose themselves in the social space…they HAVE TO say something back, while they should be working to monetise their website.
I would say to any newbie marketers in Wealthy Affiliate community (or any make-money-online community), every time you read a blog / Q&A / training or advice, ask yourself if the information was helpful to you. If yes, HOW can you apply it to your work? If there’s no clear answer, ignore and move on. Time is too precious to hang out in the community for so long.
Wealthy Affiliate does not make you promote itself – the referral commission is 50% of monthly recurring fee, which is great, and it teaches you how to promote it effectively. Who doesn’t?
Thanks again Rakibul for your opinion, if you need any more clarifications please don’t hesitate to leave another comment.
Ray
I can honestly say that Wealthy Affiliate has changed my life. The community is so supportive and helpful and I have learnt more in the last year than I have in the previous 5 probably!
It’s enabled me to work part-time now I’m making a little money from my blog. I think the people that write negative reviews and complain are the ones who didn’t truly give it a chance. It’s not a get-rich-quick-scheme and it takes perseverance but in my opinion this is one of the (many) great things about it!
If you work methodically through the training, take time to ask questions and dedicate yourself yo your blog you will make money, I can promise you.
Hi Louise, thanks for sharing your experience & opinion. It’s great to hear that you’ve made your success with your blog and that’s because of Wealthy Affiliate. Yes I agree, you need to work methodically through the training, not to become lazy by interpreting what’s been taught into some ‘convenient’ way you want.
I think people who write negative reviews are often referring something else other than the training. I’ve never seen anyone say negative about the WA weekly webinar by Jay, for example. And the webinar by itself is worth paying my membership fee for.
Thanks Louise, appreciate your comment!
Hi, Ray, thank you for such a inspiring sentences. I never heard about a wealthy affiliate but, I would like myself to be successful web and digital market expert in future. Please tell me what is the best study to do.
Thank you very much.
Tien
Hi Tien, thanks for visiting my site. Like I explained in my post, Wealthy Affiliate allows you to learn how to build your own website and promote a ‘niche’ that you’ve chosen – any subjects, hobbies, products or areas of interest that you have a knowledge of. And learn how to make your website appealing to the world at large. I believe there is the ‘best way to study’ in there. It’s free to join, so just take a look around. Thanks again for your comment!

Hi Sacha, good luck! I hope you’ll enjoy using some new features in the platform. Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask!
Good job Ray, I know you support Wealthy Affiliate 100% and it’s an awesome community. Best of luck and best wishes. Martin
Thanks Martin, I appreciate your comment. I hope you’ll be able to get back rebuilding your website soon. If you need some help, I’m here for you. Give me a shout any time!
Can I ask a question about hiring someone to write a blog page. How easy is it to find and will it make money, I don’t have my website but if someone can write it for me and I can receive a good roi I will consider as my future main income source. If there is a possibility. Thanks.
Hi Jona, it’s easy to find a guest blogger, but you need to find someone with a good knowledge in SEO, who will charge you $50 or more per page, that’s not easy. And you can’t expect any income from it.
Nothing will happen overnight. First when you open your own website, you need to learn how to optimize it, ultimately means how to gain trust from search engines. You need to build your blog posts – write at least one post a week. A lot of new website owners write every day for the first month or so. Imagine paying 30 x guest bloggers, and there’s no guarantee or whatsoever it will allow you to make money.
Sorry to disappoint you! But you do need to learn technique and keep working on your site, just like any other work. I hope this makes sense but if you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to get back to me. Thanks for your visit!
I have tried Wealthy Affiliate like 3 years ago and couldn’t finish the training. It takes a lot of determination to start I guess. I should go back when I’m ready and would like to earn passive income. Is it possible to start again and get the first 7 days free? Thanks I appreciate.
Hi Sarah, thanks for your comment. Whenever you’re ready, you can take your own good time to learn affiliate marketing from WA. Just to clarify – you can stay as a free member as long as you like. If you become a premium member in the first 7 days, you’ll get 56%+ discount, that’s all it is. So when you log back in using the same email address, your account should still be there. Take your time and whenever you can afford to pay the monthly fee, you can become a premium and move on to less 2 onwards. If you need any help, don’t hesitate to ask me any time. Thanks for your visit!
I am desperate for a success to make money. Working from home. I tried more than 2 years and spend more money than make. I made about $1000 in total but spend maybe $5000 or more. Please if I may have your advice. I am not in USA.
Thank you. Ray.
Zan
