I'm so excited to learn that Ben Sherman and my favourite band The Carnabys have recently signed a partnership deal. Ben Sherman and The Carnabys! There couldn't have been a better combination. The brand has always been associated with iconic British bands and the Mod culture for the decade. The Who in the '60s, The Jam and the ska bands such as the Specials and Madness in the '80s, the Brit Pop in the '90s... Blur and Oasis? Don't you ever forget Ocean Colour Scene.
Now The Carnabys is the perfect choice for this decade. Their music has the style. The solid hard guitar sound and the singer Jack Mercer's fiery voice. But the tune is fantastically pop. Basically they're carrying the contemporary Mod sound as of today. I feel stupid trying to explain what kind of music they do in words... Music Venue Trust
Back to The Carnabys. Music Venue Trust is a charity dedicated to save UK's small music venues, and The Carnabys have become the youngest ever patron for the Trust. We don't have many days left now, but their new album "Too Much, Never Enough" has been up for pre-sale 4 months in advance of its release in August, and the profit is being donated to the Music Venue Trust. I don’t know much about Ben Sherman, but I do know a good dress shirt when I see it, those are looking good and I am in the market for one. Any more specific details about the shirts? Some material doesn’t fit well with my skin.
