I noticed something may have been going on with iLoveToReview last week - I was due to write a review on 2 products but the site no longer let me log in. And today, I received an email from Keith O'Brien, CEO of iLoveToReivew to tell me the scheme had to come to an end.
First, I just want to say that you have been an amazing member. You guys have helped us generate over 230,000 reviews for our clients over the last 2 years in both the U.S and the U.K.
Those reviews have helped countless Amazon customers make informed decisions about new and existing products in the marketplace.
On November 22nd, Amazon.co.uk released an update to their Reviewer Guidelines.
The update eliminated the ability for sellers to provide free or discounted products in exchange for a review.
We knew this was coming as the TOS updated in the U.S. about 7 weeks ago.
As of today, iLoveToReview will cease all operations in the U.K.
If you have recently received products from our clients, you may review them if you wish, but please know, there is absolutely NO REQUIREMENT for you to do so. If you do choose to leave a review, please DO NOT put the disclosure statement.
Again, Amazon no longer permits reviews to be written in exchange for free or discounted products.
We have launched other services already in the US and will have those ready for the UK shortly. For now, just sit tight and we’ll be in touch very soon.

It's the change of policy by Amazon therefore totally understandable. In fact the sentence "I received this product for free in exchange for my honest & unbiased opinion" is all over the reviews across Amazon, it was becoming a bit of a joke. (Does anyone buy anything for full price?) I've even heard my friend's 9 year old daughter saying "Mum, what does 'unbiased' mean?" She'd seen the same sentence while she was looking for her toy game on Amazon.
Anyway it's been a great experience for me. I had 2 x diet herbal medicines for free and don't have to write reviews (they're both crap). Thanks to iLoveToReview, all the best to you too with your new ventures.
