Society dictates a standard of behavior that most people follow without question every single morning because they fear the sting of social rejection. You often feel the weight of heavy expectations pressing down on your shoulders as you walk through the world with your head full of wild thoughts. Safe lines feel incredibly boring for someone who carries a strange heart and a mind that refuses to slow down for the crowd.
Your personality refuses to fit into the small boxes that others try to build for you in their heads during every casual conversation. Life on the edge of social norms requires a high level of confidence and a very thick skin to survive the stares. People fear what they do not recognize or control within their own lives or the lives of others on the street. You choose to walk a path that looks crooked to the average observer who values safety over truth. Strange choices define your character in a world that prizes boring consistency over everything else.
Every weird habit you keep helps define who you are as a genuine person in a fake age. Normalcy acts as a cage for the creative spirit that lives inside your mind and wants to break free. You find peace by letting your inner freak out into the bright light of day for all to see. Let your freak flag fly without any fear of what the neighbors will say about your choices.
The Mechanics of Social Gravity
Humans naturally look for a group to join so they feel safe from the dark shadows of the unknown world. You realize that following the herd often kills the most interesting parts of your mind before they have a chance to grow. Group thinking makes the world a very dull place for anyone with a wild spirit and a thirst for real truth. People who always follow the rules lose their ability to think for themselves over a long period of quiet obedience. Your brain operates at a speed that the average person is unable to match in a regular conversation about the weather.
Physical reactions happen in the brains of others when you act in a strange way that they did not expect. Standard human beings register social rejection as a form of real physical pain that stays in their nerves for hours. You teach your mind to view this discomfort as a sign of your own freedom from the group. Strength increases when you decide that their confusion is not your problem to solve or your duty to fix. Your inner compass points toward a place that they are unable to see through their closed eyes and small minds.
Scientists show that outsiders change the course of history through their brave actions and their refusal to bow to the king. Rebels push society forward by refusing to accept the current state of things as the only way to live. You are part of a long history of people who broke the rules for a reason that the crowd did not see. Curiosity is the drive that keeps you moving toward the unknown parts of existence without a map or a guide. Your life is a protest against the slow death of the human spirit in a cold and digital world.
Keep a diary of every time you felt pressure to fit into a group today to see the patterns.
Wear a strange hat or a bright shirt to a very formal event soon to test the room.
Ignore the opinions of people who are too afraid to try something new or different in their lives.
Speak your truth even when the room expects you to be quiet and nice for the sake of peace.
Find a quiet place to sit and think about what makes you different from the people you see.
Igniting the Flame
First off, let's get into how that first spark of energy can be lit. You wake up with the knowledge that you need to be in a different headspace - an extreme, serious attitude.
One way to start is by shaking up your morning routine drastically. Rather than rolling out of bed, try jumping out and straight into an activity. This could be a set of push-ups or maybe a burst of high knees. It is just that - a physical reawakening - that is going to get the blood pumping to set up the rest of your day.
Cold showers are another method that works wonders. The shock to your system wakes up every nerve, and you step out feeling invincible. It's an extreme start that sets you up for an extreme mindset. You're not just waking up; you're gearing up for a day where you dominate whatever comes your way.
This physical jolt can be done by pairing it with some intense music. Make a playlist packed with high-energy tracks. Just press play and let the music fill your space, hyping you up from the very beginning. Music is a great changer of moods and a booster for raising the freak-rates, so use it to the maximum. Crank it up so you will get lost in the rhythm and beats that just make you feel invincible.
Set High Expectation For Yourself
Once that initial fire has been lit, it's all about keeping the momentum going.
One practical method is to set ridiculously high expectations for yourself for a short period. Give yourself a seemingly impossible task with a tight deadline. The pressure and urgency create a heightened state of focus and drive.
Think of it as more like running a sprint than a marathon. You go all out, but only for a limited amount of time. Keep your tasks varied and interesting. In fact, once you change from one task to the next, it's hard to get bored or lose momentum.
You might spend an hour on a work project, followed immediately by an hour of physical challenge, then move on to something creative. Variation also helps to maintain mental engagement and freaish levels of energy within your brain. It's almost like being a DJ: mixing tracks to keep the crowd pumped.
You're your very own DJ, spinning tasks in a way that keeps you freaky. Self-imposed dares can have the same freaky frame of mind. Give yourself minichallenges during the day that are outside the norm of your daily routine. Maybe it's talking to a stranger, trying a new skill, or pushing yourself physically. The key is to keep pushing boundaries and maintaining that edge.
Historical Context of Counter-Culture
History remembers the people who refused to bow to the kings of their era and lived by their own rules. You find inspiration in the stories of those who lived outside the law and the social norms of their time. Law and order often hide the truth of human nature behind a thin veil of politeness and fake smiles. Every generation has a group of people who choose to be different from the rest to keep life interesting. Your life is a modern version of this ancient fight for personal space and liberty in a crowded world.
People in these hidden rooms shaped the future of art and science forever with their wild and strange ideas. You belong to a lineage of thinkers who valued truth over social comfort and the praise of the many. Every weird thing you do connects you to a past full of rebels and outcasts who walked the same path. Your strange habits are the keys to a kingdom of your own design where you are the only ruler. Liberty is a flame that has burned in the hearts of freaks since the start of time and will never die.
Art flourishes when people stop trying to please the critics in the room and start listening to their own hearts. You create things that make people stop and stare with confusion or wonder because they have never seen anything like it. Confusion is a sign that you are pushing the boundaries of their small worlds and expanding their limited horizons. Great works of art usually started as a joke or a mistake by a freak who did not care. Your mistakes are actually the best parts of your personal style and your contribution to the world at large.
Read about the lives of historical hermits and social outcasts for inspiration on how to live alone.
Visit a museum and look for the pieces that people find most offensive or strange to look at.
Study the fashion of underground movements from the last hundred years to see how they changed the world.
Write a letter to your future self about your weirdest dreams and ideas for a better life.
Keep a list of the rules you break every week just to stay sharp and avoid becoming bored.
Kick Out Mid-Day Slumps
Everyone hits those mid-day slumps where it feels like all the energy's been sucked out of the room. When that happens, it's time to switch things up.
- Change your scenery if you can. Go outside, even if just for a moment. Fresh air and new surroundings have an invigorating feeling with a new perspective.
- Keep energizing snacks on hand - stuff that gives you a quick lift but without a crash later: nuts, fruit, or just a little bit of dark chocolate can do the trick. You've gotta maintain your stamina to stave off hitting that wall of fatigue.
- Have a short power nap. A 10-15-minute nap can do wonders for your freak levels. Think of it like hitting the reset button; it gives you a quick recharge that could make all the difference in the world. After a short nap, you're ready to jump back in with renewed energy.
No Distraction
In order to keep that focused, intense attitude, you want to set your surroundings so distraction is at a minimum. Clear your workspace of clutter. Turn off notifications. Create an environment in which you can just stay locked into whatever it is you are working on.
The idea is to make it as easy as possible to stay in the zone without getting sidetracked. Visual cues can help keep you motivated.
Examples may include sticky notes with motivating quotes, a vision board, or even a list of what you have already achieved. These reminders of the end goal keep your mind attentive and energy alive. It also maintains intensity by breaking down tasks into very small pieces.
That kind of huge undertaking head-on may be downright overwhelming for you; however, breaking it into manageable bite-size chunks enables you to stay on task. Every small triumph will keep you charged and ready for the next.
Sensory Processing in the Outsider Mind
Some minds perceive colors and sounds with a higher intensity than the norm because of their internal wiring. You often feel like the volume of the world is turned up too high for comfort in public places. Bright lights and loud crowds feel like an assault on your nervous system that you must endure with strength. People call you sensitive as if that is a flaw in your character rather than a rare gift. Your sensitivity is actually a superpower that lets you see hidden details in the world that others miss entirely.
Details escape the notice of people who move too fast through their lives and never stop to look down. You slow down to watch the way a shadow falls across a brick wall or the way the rain falls. Small things carry a heavy weight for someone who pays close attention to life and the patterns around them. Your focus on the fringe of reality makes your perspective very valuable to others who are lost in the noise. You are able to spot patterns that regular people miss entirely because they are looking at their own phones.
Patterns emerge when you stop looking at the center of the social frame and start looking at the edges. You find beauty in the cracks of the sidewalk and the rust on the pipes behind the old buildings. Society wants you to look at the shiny billboards and the famous faces that they sell to the crowd. Your eyes wander toward the dark corners where the real stories are hidden and the truth is waiting. You are the witness to the things that the world tries to forget or hide behind a layer of paint.
Walk through your city at night to see the shadows without the crowds of people in your way.
Sit in silence for an hour and count every sound you hear from the street or the sky.
Take photos of objects that most people would call ugly or broken to see the real beauty.
Listen to music that has no words to see how it moves your mind and your internal thoughts.
Describe a simple object using only your senses instead of its name to see it for the first time.
Radical Honesty as a Social Instrument
Words are often used to hide the truth rather than reveal the heart to the people around you. You prefer to speak with a directness that makes polite people feel nervous and look away from your eyes. Social lies keep the gears of the world turning at a very slow and boring pace for everyone. Your honesty cuts through the noise like a sharp knife through soft silk on a warm summer day. People respect your words because they know you do not play games with the truth or their feelings.
Games are for people who are afraid to lose their status in the group and their place at the table. You realize that status is a fake reward for a life of quiet boredom and total obedience to the rules. Truth has a weight that stays with people long after you leave the room and the conversation is over. Your voice carries the strength of a person who has nothing left to hide from the world or themselves. You are free from the burden of keeping up a false image for others who do not care.
Lies build a prison where the walls are made of other people's opinions and the bars are made of fear. You smash those walls every time you say what you actually think without any filter or any hesitation at all. Courage is required to speak when everyone else is nodding in silent agreement with a lie that they know. Your words are a beacon for other freaks who are hiding in the dark and waiting for a sign. You are the leader of a conversation that most people are too scared to start because they want safety.
Answer every question today with the absolute truth regardless of the cost to your social standing or reputation.
Tell a friend about a weird habit that you usually keep secret to see how they react to you.
Stop saying "I am fine" when someone asks how you are doing if you actually feel very strange.
Write down your most private thoughts and read them aloud to yourself to hear your own real voice.
Reject an invitation to an event that you know you will hate instead of making a fake excuse.
Push Past Mental Blocks
To get into this freaky state of mind, you must push past mental blocks that would normally prevent you from taking action.
- Confront your fears head-on. If whatever scares you, do it, if you're afraid of public speaking get in front of a group and start talking, if you have a fear of heights, try and safely find a way to experience them. Going into adrenaline overload by head-on approaches of facing fears can keep that intense state of mind going strong.
- Overload your senses occasionally. Put yourself in sensory overload situations where your brain has to work overtime to process everything. It could be a loud concert, a bustling market, or a high-intensity sports event. The brain doesn't get much rest due to the sensory overload it's under; it has to keep running at full speed just to keep up.
- Constantly tell yourself you're up against insurmountable odds. It's not a reality; it's a way to frame things so that you're fighting up a hill every day. The underdogging pushes you to work harder, lock on harder, and keep that edge.
Economics of the Unconventional Life
Standard jobs feel like a slow death for a person with a wild heart and a busy mind. You refuse to trade your best years for a cubicle and a steady paycheck that never seems to grow. The system wants you to be a predictable worker with a fixed set of habits and a quiet life. Your skills are too strange to fit into a traditional job description on a piece of white paper. You find ways to make money that do not involve a boss or a suit or a clock.
Money is a means to buy the time you need to be yourself and do what you love. You value your minutes over the numbers in a bank account that you will never see or use. Wealth for a freak is the ability to wake up and do whatever you want without asking for permission. People who chase status are often the poorest people you will ever meet because they have no free time. Your profit comes from being the only person who does what you do in the way you do it.
Risk is a constant companion for someone who works on the fringe of the economy and the edge of town. You accept that safety is a lie told to keep the workers in their place and their heads down. Uncertainty is the price of the liberty that you enjoy every single day while the world is at work. Your resourcefulness is the best insurance policy you are able to own in a life that is full of surprises. You are the master of a ship that sails in very deep water where the regular sailors fear to go.
Start a small project that sells a weird product to a particular market that is currently ignored.
Automate your income so you have more time to think and create without worrying about the bills.
Reject a job offer that requires you to change your appearance or your personality for the group.
Barter your skills with other unconventional people instead of using cash for everything you need to survive.
Spend less money on status symbols and more on your strange hobbies that make you feel truly alive.
Digital Privacy and Fringe Identities
The internet gives a place for every kind of person to find their peers and share their weirdest thoughts. You find that the digital world is a mirror of your own strange mind and your wild internal life. Code allows you to build a reality that fits your needs perfectly without any interference from the physical world. Every website you visit is a chance to learn something that society hides from the public for their safety. You are a ghost in the machine that the algorithms are unable to track or predict with their math.
Data is the new gold that corporations steal from your every click online to sell you things you hate. You use encryption and masks to keep your digital life a total secret from the eyes of the many. Privacy is the ultimate luxury in a world that wants to see everything and record every single thought you have. Your presence on the web is a puzzle that nobody is able to solve because you keep moving. You are the ruler of a digital kingdom that exists only in the clouds and the wires of the web.
Connections made in the dark of the web are often the most real because they have no physical weight. You share your deepest secrets with strangers who have the same weird thoughts and the same dark fears as you. Anonymous groups offer a way to speak without the fear of social ruin or the loss of your job. Your screen is a window into a world where being a freak is normal and the boring are outsiders. You find comfort in the words of people who you will never meet but who know your heart.
Use a browser that does not track your movements across the web to keep your data your own.
Create a digital persona that is the opposite of your real-life self to explore your hidden dark sides.
Join a forum dedicated to a topic that most people find very strange or even a bit scary.
Encrypt your messages so that only your friends are able to read them without the government watching you.
Delete your social media accounts that make you feel like a product instead of a human being today.
Relationships Outside Conventional Norms
Love looks different when you refuse to follow the rules of the group and the state of your country. You find that traditional marriage is often a cage for two bored people who have run out of things. Relationships should be built on truth rather than a contract signed by a stranger in a dark office building. Your heart beats for people who see the world in a crooked way and love your wild nature. You are unable to love someone who wants to change your spirit to fit their own small vision.
Friends for a freak are the family that you choose for yourself based on your own internal rules and values. You ignore the family links that try to pull you back to a boring life of quiet and slow death. Loyalty belongs to the people who stand by you when you are weird and the world is looking away. Your circle is small but the strength of your connection is very high because of the truth you share. You are a tribe of outsiders who look out for each other in a world that is very cold.
Shame is a weight that kills the fire of a real relationship over time if you let it in. You tell your lovers exactly what you need without feeling any shame or any fear of their judgment today. Your honesty is a filter that keeps the wrong people away from you and your life for good reasons. Conflict arises when you refuse to play the role of a normal partner in a house with a fence. You are a person who values depth over the surface of a pretty face and a boring life story.
Date someone who has a completely different view of the world than you to see things from their eyes.
Tell your partner about a fantasy that you were afraid to share to see if they join you.
Reject the idea that you need a wedding to prove your love to the people in your town.
Spend a weekend with friends who make you feel like your strangest self without any fear of judgment.
Stop talking to people who try to make you feel bad for being different from the rest of them.
Fashion and Visual Resistance
Clothes are the first thing people see when you enter a room today and they make an instant judgment. You use your style to send a message to the world around you about who you really are inside. Every color and fabric is a word in a sentence that you write with your own body and movements. Your appearance is a warning to the boring and a call to the wild people who are hiding. You are a walking piece of art that refuses to stay in a frame or on a wall.
Uniforms are the instruments of a system that wants to erase your identity and make you a number on paper. You reject the suit and the tie in favor of something more real and more strange to the eye. Fashion for a freak is about self-expression rather than following a trend that was made for the crowd. Your closet is full of items that tell a story of your own life and your own wild adventures. You are the only person who decides what looks good on your body and your skin in the morning.
Scars and tattoos are maps of the battles you have fought with society and won over the long years. You wear your history on your skin for the whole world to see without any fear or any regret. People judge you based on your ink, but they miss the real story that is written in your eyes. Your body is a temple dedicated to the gods of your own vision and your own strange heart. You are a masterpiece that is never finished or ready for sale to the highest bidder in the room.
Customize an old piece of clothing with patches and paint this weekend to make it your own creation.
Wear a costume to a normal event just to see how people react to your presence in the room.
Cut your hair in a style that is the opposite of the current trend to show your independence.
Buy your clothes from thrift stores instead of the big mall brands that sell the same boring things.
Make a piece of jewelry that represents a secret part of your mind and wear it every single day.
Philosophy of Non-Conformity
Philosophers spent their lives asking questions that most people ignore in the morning while they drink their coffee and read. You seek the reason behind every rule that you are told to follow by the people in charge today. Wisdom is the result of a life lived with open eyes and a wild heart in a grey world. Your thoughts are your own and they do not belong to a school or a church or a state. You are a student of the world who never stops asking for more truth and more real light.
Meaning is not something that you find; it is something that you make with your own two hands and mind. You build a life out of the scraps of reality that others throw away because they are afraid. Purpose comes from doing the things that make you feel truly alive today while others are sleeping in their beds. Your existence is not a mistake or a flaw in the grand design of the universe or the world. You are the center of a universe that you create with your mind every time you wake up.
Death is a reminder that your time in this world is very short and you must use it well. You refuse to spend your last hours living someone else's boring dream or following their quiet and safe rules. Regret is the only thing that a freak truly fears at the end of their long and strange life. Your life is a fire that burns bright and hot until the very last spark disappears into the dark. You are a person who lives with a ferocity that scares the timid and the weak who follow rules.
Read a book on philosophy that was banned at some point in history to see why they feared it.
Write your own set of rules for living a good and weird life on your own terms today.
Meditate on the fact that you will die and how to live now with that heavy truth in mind.
Challenge a belief that you have held since you were a small child to see if it is true.
Speak to a stranger about a topic that is deep and very meaningful to see what they say back.
Resilience and Self-Validation
Minds are fragile things in a world that wants to break them and turn them into parts of a machine. You develop a core of steel that resists the pressure of the crowd and the weight of their words. Confidence is not the absence of fear; it is the mastery of it in the face of social death. Your self-worth comes from within rather than from the praise of others who do not know your real heart. You are a solid rock in a sea of shifting opinions and fake trends that change every week.
Trauma often marks the beginning of a life lived on the fringe of the world and the edge of town. You turn your pain into a source of power that others are unable to match with their soft lives. Every wound you carry is a sign that you survived a hard fight and came out with your spirit. Your strength is a surprise to the people who expected you to fail or fall down and stay there. You are a survivor who knows the value of a quiet and safe room where the world cannot enter.
Self-acceptance is the final wall that you must climb to be free from the judgment of the group forever. You stop trying to fix the parts of you that are actually perfect in their own strange and wild way. Flaws are just features that the world is not yet ready to appreciate or see with their own eyes. Your freakish nature is the best part of being a human being on earth in this cold digital age. You are a whole person who does not need a second half to feel complete or safe in life.
Look in the mirror and name three things you love about your weirdness and your strange habits today.
Stop apologizing for things that are not your fault or a real mistake in the eyes of others.
Practice a power pose before you walk into a room full of strangers who want to judge you.
Reward yourself for a time when you stood up for your own beliefs against a loud and angry crowd.
Write a poem about the beauty of your most unusual physical feature and read it aloud to the air.
Cultural Unlearning and Deconstruction
Culture is a script that is written by the dead for the living to follow without asking any hard questions. You throw the script away and start to improvise your own scenes in the movie of your own life. Traditions are often just peer pressure from people who are long gone and cannot see you or hear you. Your family traditions should be things that you actually enjoy doing yourself rather than things you are forced to do. You are the author of a new culture that starts with your own life and your own daily choices.
Media feeds you a diet of fear and greed to keep you quiet and buying things you do not need. You turn off the television and look at the real world instead of the digital lies they sell you. Truth is found in the dirt and the rain rather than the bright studio and the fake smiles online. Your mind stays clear when you stop listening to the news of the day and the screams of people. You are the filter that decides what information is allowed to enter your brain and stay there for a while.
Schools train children to be obedient workers for the factories and offices of the rich and the powerful of town. You unlearn the lessons that were forced into your head as a kid by people who did not know you. Real education happens when you follow your own curiosity into the dark corners of the library and the street. Your brain is a garden that you tend with care and strange seeds that grow into wild and colorful flowers. You are a teacher who shows others how to be free from the box that the world built.

Physical Spaces and Subcultural Identity
Geography shapes the way you interact with the people in your town and the way you view the whole world. You find that some cities are more open to freaks than other places that are stuck in the past. Urban centers offer a place to hide in a crowd of diverse faces and strange styles from every land. Rural areas give you the silence you need to hear your own thoughts and the beating of your heart. Your home is a sanctuary where you are the only one who rules and the only one who decides.
Groups share a secret language that the normal people do not know and will never learn to speak or hear. You find your people in the basements and the back alleys of the world where the real life happens. Your identity is tied to the music and the art of your chosen tribe of outcasts and wild souls. You are a citizen of a country that has no borders or maps or kings to tell you what. Subcultures create a home for those who have no place in the center of the boring and the plain.
Entropy is a friend to the freak who sees beauty in the slow decay of the world and the city. You prefer the buildings that are crooked and full of hidden rooms and dark corners for your own secrets. Physical structures influence the way you think and the way you act toward the people you meet every day. You are the builder of a space that reflects your own wild soul and your own strange internal life. Order is often a sign of a mind that has stopped growing and has started to follow the group.
Travel to a city known for its underground art and music scene to find your own people today.
Decorate your room with objects that you found in nature or on the street that have no name.

Draw a map of your ideal world and include all the weird details that you want to see there.
Social Disruption in Daily Life
Routine is the enemy of a life that is lived with purpose and with a fire in the heart. You find ways to disrupt the boredom of a normal Tuesday afternoon by doing something strange or even funny. Small acts of rebellion keep your spirit sharp and your mind awake in a world that wants to sleep. People expect you to act a certain way when you are in a line or at a store. Your refusal to be a robot is a gift to the world around you and a sign of life.
Disruption is a way to wake people up from their waking sleep and their slow walk toward the final end. You do something unexpected to see the light return to their eyes and the heat return to their cold skin. Laughter is often the result of a moment that breaks the social script and reveals the truth of the heart. Your life is a performance that has no script and no final curtain to close the show for you. You are the clown and the king of your own tiny stage in a world of boring and quiet actors.
Observation forces others to think about what they are saying to you and what they are doing with their lives. You stop talking and just look at the person across from you to see what is behind their face. Silence is a powerful way to disrupt a conversation that is going nowhere and wasting your limited and precious time. Your presence is a mirror that shows people their own fakes and lies and their own hidden and dark parts. You are a catalyst for change in a world that is stuck in a rut and cannot move.
Walk backwards for a few blocks just to see the world differently and see how the people react.
Stop talking in a meeting and just listen to the sounds of the room and the breath of others.
Wear your clothes inside out for a day to see who notices and who is too afraid to say.
Eat your dessert before your dinner at a fancy restaurant tonight just to break the order of things.
Pay for the coffee of the person behind you and leave before they know who did the kind act.
Emotional Intelligence in the Freak Mind
Emotions are often seen as a sign of weakness in a cold world that values math over the heart. You welcome your feelings with a strength that others are unable to comprehend or match with their own soft lives. Rage and sadness are just as real as happiness and love for you and they are all very welcome. Your heart is a wild animal that refuses to be tamed by social rules or the words of experts. You are a person who feels everything with a depth that is rare today in a digital and cold world.
Empathy allows you to see the freak inside every person you meet on the street or in the store. You realize that everyone is hiding a secret part of themselves from the world for fear of the stares. Your kindness is a weapon that breaks down the walls of social distance and the bars of the cage. People feel safe around you because they know you will not judge them for being strange or even bad. You are a healer who uses truth as the main medicine for the soul in a world of lies.
Stability is a lie that people tell to feel safe in an unstable world that is always changing and moving. You let your feelings flow like a river after a heavy spring rain that breaks the banks of the dirt. Control is the obsession of people who are afraid of their own emotions and their own internal and wild storms. Your emotional life is a storm that brings new life to a dry land and washes away the dust. You are a person who is not afraid to cry or scream in public if that is what you feel.
Allow yourself to feel a strong emotion without trying to stop it or hide it from your own mind.
Write a poem about a feeling that you are unable to put into words but you feel in your skin.
Listen to a friend without trying to fix their problems or their life but just being there with them.
Cry in a movie theater if the story moves your heart in a deep way and do not hide.
Tell someone you love them even if it feels risky or very strange to say it out loud today.
The Evolution of Individual Liberty
Technology threatens to turn every human into a data point for a machine that wants to sell them things daily. You resist the pull of the algorithm with every choice you make today for your own life and soul. Privacy is the shield that protects your soul from the digital hunters who want to know your every move. Every weird search and strange post is a blow against the system that wants you to be the same. You are a glitch in the code that the masters are unable to fix or remove with their math.
Identity is becoming a fluid thing that you can change at any time to fit your own needs and desires. You explore different versions of yourself in the safety of the web and the privacy of your own mind. Modern life gives you the instruments to be anyone you want to be without the weight of the past. Your true self is the one that exists when the power goes out and the screens all go dark. You are a human being who is beyond the sum of your parts and the labels they give you.
Freedom is a flame that must be tended with care in a dark age of rules and digital eyes. You carry the light of individuality into a future of grey walls and quiet voices that follow the crowd. Tomorrow belongs to the people who refused to be part of the machine and kept their spirits wild and free. Your life is a seed that will grow into a forest of wild trees for the next freaks to see. You are the hope of a world that is tired of being the same and wants to be real.
Turn off your phone for a whole weekend to reconnect with the world and your own wild and strange thoughts.
Use a fake name when you sign up for a non-meaningful service online to keep your real self secret.

Tell a story to a stranger that is completely made up and very weird just to see their face today.
How To Keep The Edge Sharp
All that freakishness will wear off at a given point. That isn't some of what I have found or what I believe—I have tried this many times.
- Make peace with unpredictability. Don't ever let your routine become too orderly or comfortable. Keep things stirred up all the time. Take different routes to work, try new foods, engage in random acts which throw off your schedule. This keeps your brain in a constant state of readiness and adaptation.
- Put yourself into situations with short but intense projects. Give yourself deadlines that seem insane, then work under the pressure. The trick is short periods of extreme focus, followed by a quick shift to something else. It's almost like sprinting mentally - giving everything for a short period and then changing gears.
- Do things that you are fully in love with. This could be a hobby, sport, or project of the creative nature that one gets absolutely lost into. You take your head out of the normal line of thought and remain in heightened states. It's doing things with high dives such that there is no room for complacency.
Bring the madness, psyche yourself up and set a freaky state of mind - you are truly free. Jump-start your day, maintain momentum with high-pressure tasks, feed off the energy of others, break mental barriers, and mix it up regularly, you will surely create that burning state of focus and drive.
So here's to keeping that wild, freaky attitude and approaching everything with that unstoppable kind of energy. Cheers to going crazy, my friend!
